MARCH 26TH IS EPILEPSY AWARENESS DAY
Epilepsy is a common disorder in which an individual experiences seizures. While most seizures do not have an identifiable cause, in some cases they can be the result of a traumatic brain injury, illness, or other medical conditions. There are different types of seizures, and each affect the individual differently. Most children with epilepsy go on to live full, happy, and fairly normal lives, and their condition is managed with medication. In rare cases, seizures don't respond to medication, and there may need to be a more intensive intervention like surgery or implants to control the seizures. There are thousands of orphans all over the world with epilepsy, these are just a few of these children. Could one of them be your son or daughter?
