World Hydrocephalus Day

October 25th is World Hydrocephalus Day

There are SO many wonderful children around the world with hydrocephalus just waiting to be scooped up! Hydrocephalus is a condition in which fluid builds up and causes pressure on the brain. Children with this condition may have an abnormally large head (macrocephaly), and shunt surgery is often required to relieve the pressure. If untreated, it can cause serious brain damage. Many of these children are not able to receive the quality medical care they so desperately need and deserve. They are so worthy of a family to call their own. Could one of these sweet loves be your son or daughter?
