"Cory"

Meet adorable "Cory"! Cory is 8 and living in Eastern Europe. He is diagnosed as having cerebral palsy, and a visual impairment. He was also born premature. Cory was originally listed with his little sister, who has since been adopted domestically.

Big brother "Cory" is a sweet and cheerful boy who is curious about the world around him. He doesn't let his diagnosis get him down, and works really hard!

Cory uses his wheelchair to get around, but can crawl. He tries his best to be independent, and can independently eat, go to the bathroom, and get dressed. He can walk with assistance, but his caregivers believe that he will one day walk independently!

Cory does receive daily therapies, but it is unknown what they are or to what extent.

Cory has $1,296.50 in his personal grant with Reece's Rainbow towards his adoption!

"Cory" seems like a great kid who would shine and continue to make progress in the right family. Could he be your son? Please don't keep him waiting! Click the link to make an inquiry or donate towards his adoption!

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2024

Cory moves on his fours or in a wheelchair. The boy tries to be independent - he feeds himself, uses the toilet, gets dressed. He has therapies every day and can walk with adult’s help. The caregiver shared with the agency representative that there is a huge potential that he can walk independently. His health condition is good. The child can be in a straight sitting position and can do a lot of things without help, independently moves around in a wheelchair and independently gets in and out of a wheelchair. He is developmentally delayed, and his motor skills are undeveloped in some areas. His speech is at a good level. He is willing participating in group activities, he interacts well with peers and adults.

  1. It absolutely breaks my heart that his sister was adopted out separately, their previous bio spoke of how bonded they were and protective of each other.
