Listed August 2023

"Scotland"

Meet adorable little "Scotland"! Scotland is 2 years old and living in East Asia. He is diagnosed with Huntington's Disease.

Scotland has a gentle temperament. He is currently living with a foster family, and begins each day with a hug and kiss to his foster parents! Scotland loves to play and has lots of energy.

Scotland is diagnosed with Huntington's Disease, which is a rare neurogenerative disease that impacts the body's movements, cognitive thinking, and mood. As an individual with Huntington's Disease gets older, the disease progresses, and these symptoms get worse or become more prominent. There is no cure, but it can be treated with therapy and medications.

Not much info is provided regarding Scotland's diagnosis or how it impacts him, but an agency can give more info.

Scotland currently has $1,090 in his personal grant with Reece's Rainbow towards his adoption!

"Scotland"'s diagnosis can be intimidating especially for someone unfamiliar with the condition, but what this tiny little boy needs most is a family! Early intervention is still very possible for this precious boy, and he desperately needs access to quality therapies and medical care. Please don't let Scotland's diagnosis scare you away. Do your research, and ask yourself if he could be your son!
