FAMILY FOUND APRIL 2024!

"Benedict"

Meet sweet "Benedict"! Benedict is 6 years old and living in South America. In addition to Marfan Syndrome, Benedict is also diagnosed with a developmental delay, visual impairment, and congenital heart defect. He was also born premature.

Marfan Syndrome is a genetic disorder that affects the connective tissue. People with this condition are typically unusually tall and thin, with long arms, legs, fingers, and toes. Many people with Marfan Syndrome tend to have heart defects and visual impairments, like Benedict. People with Marfan Syndrome can live a long, full life with monitored health care, especially heart care.

Benedict is a sweet boy who loves getting attention.

As of November 2023, Benedict was developing appropriately, both cognitively and with motor skills. He is very sociable, and expresses joy and affection.

Benedict is currently receiving care under a cardiologist, ophthalmologist, and a traumatologist.

Benedict currently has $25 in his personal grant with Reece's Rainbow towards his adoption!

Benedict sounds like an amazing child who would just thrive in a family of his own. He is so worthy and deserving of the love and consistency a forever home could give him. Please don't keep this sweet boy waiting. Click the link to inquire or donate towards his adoption!
