FAMILY FOUND JUNE 2022

"JESSE"

Meet cute little “Jesse”! Jesse is six years old and living in Caribbean America. He is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Check out the smile on this handsome dude! Jesse is a bright light, the life of the party. He is nonverbal, but incredibly smart, and can recognize different letters and sounds. Jesse loves to laugh, and is very interested by the antics of his foster siblings. He can’t yet walk on his own, but will happily “chase” the other children when practicing with help. Like most little boys, Jesse loves praise, and being outside. He loves to be pushed in his swing, watching movies, and going for walks in his stroller.

As of October 2020, Jesse was attending preschool twice a week. He uses his eyes and gestures to communicate. He prays every night with his foster family. Jesse can balance sitting on his own for several seconds. He wears AFO’s , and uses a stander everyday. Jesse is not yet potty trained, but is working on it with a modified potty. He can’t eat independently, but will bring a spoon to his mouth with help when eating pureed food.

Jesse currently receives physical therapy 4 days a week.

Jesse has almost $2,600 in his personal grant with Reece’s Rainbow towards his adoption!!

Just because Jesse is smiling and well taken care of doesn’t mean he doesn’t need a family. With a mama and daddy he could do so much more in life, and absolutely thrive.
