FAMILY FOUND OCTOBER 2022

"Julie"

Meet adorable baby "Julie"! Julie is 1 year old, and living in Eastern Europe. She is diagnosed with hydrocephaly and cerebral palsy. She was also born premature.

Julie loves to play with her caregivers. She smiles when given attention.

Julie will grab toys that are given to her. She can make sounds, and is learning to play with different activities.

Julie currently receives kinesitherapy and is being followed by a pedagogue and psychologist.

"Julie" has not yet been affected by the reality of being an orphan. She is still young and tiny, and needs her mama to scoop her up! Could you be Julie's forever family?

UPDATE AUGUST 2023

"Julie" is now Olive, and doing exceptionally well settling into her family! Olive and her family arrived in America just a few weeks ago. She is so loved by her mama, daddy, and big sister. Olive's story has a happy ending thanks to the Dickens family. She is a loved little girl, sister, and daughter. So many children just like Olive are still out there waiting for families of their own. I am so thankful to God for giving this little girl a home where she can thrive and grow. Congratulations to the Dickens family! Welcome home Olive! (posted with permission from the Dickens family).

UPDATE JULY 2024

Olive is still doing amazing!!! She is learning how to use a walker, and enjoying time with her big sister. Despite a few hospital trips for her hydrocephalus, "Ollie" as she is affectionately called, is still a very happy and outgoing girl! And the Dickens family has big news.... they are adopting AGAIN! This time, it's Isla in Bulgaria!! When I heard this news I was absolutely OVERJOYED. I have prayed for and advocated for sweet Isla for so many years, and to know that these sweet girls will soon be sisters just makes me so happy. Please continue to pray for Ollie's health and progress, for the oldest sister River as she adjusts to the changes, and for "Isla" and the adoption process to go smoothly.
