Meet adorable baby "Anna Maria"! Anna Maria is 2 years old and living in North America. She is diagnosed with Down Syndrome, hypothyroidism, and idiopathic subglottic stenosis. She also has a trach and uses a feeding tube.
Anna Maria is a sweet and smiley girl. She loves attention and affections, and interacts through kisses, gestures, facial expressions, and head nods. Anna Maria has formed positive bonds with her caregivers. She enjoys listening to music.
Anna Maria has had a long medical journey, and has many medical needs. She has significant motor delays. Anna Maria is able to roll, but her hands at the midline, put her hands in her mouth, touch her feet, and sit with support.
Anna Maria is currently being seen by a myriad of specialists, including a pulmonologist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, neurologist, and thoracic surgeon. She also sees an ophthalmologist, pediatrician, nurse, speech therapist, nutritionist, physical therapist, and occupational therapist. She has had numerous hospital visits and stays, and has had surgery to place a trach. She also takes medication for her conditions.
Anna Maria currently has $649.95 in her personal grant with Reece's Rainbow towards her adoption!
