"Channing"

Available for hosting Summer 2024! Scroll to the bottom to learn more!

Meet handsome "Channing"! Channing is 12 years old and living in South America. He is diagnosed with ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder. He also has a history of abuse. He may also have an intellectual disability.

Channing enjoys playing with legos, origami, and playing soccer. He is a very friendly and outgoing boy and loves pasta! Channing wants to be a professional soccer player when he grows up.

Channing is currently living with a foster family, but longs for a family of his own. His IQ is very low, and he often needs motivation and encouragement to complete schoolwork. Channing is currently enrolled in the 4th grade. He has trouble focusing on single activities, interrupts frequently, and needs frequent reminders and redirection. Channing is learning how to manage his impulses and frustration. It is difficult for him to maintain friendships because he has a tendency to be aggressive at times. Channing recognizes authority figures, but is not always respectful or obedient. He cannot fully differentiate a bad behavior from a good one after an action has taken place. Channing has a good relationship with his foster family, and does not get jealous of other children. He is afraid of being alone.

Channing is currently taking medication for his ADHD.

Channing has a $2,000 grant towards his adoption with Madison Adoptions! He also has a $5,000 grant with Reece's Rainbow!

Channing has had a rough start to life, and needs the consistency and love that can only be found in a forever family. Don't see Channing as a boy with behaviors, see him as a BOY. A boy who loves pasta and soccer, and a child who is afraid of growing up all alone. Please don't let "Channing" spend yet another year without a family. Click the link to inquire!
