Prematurity Awareness Month: Jace

Listed November 2020

"Jace"

Introducing adorable "Jace"! Jace is 8 years old and living in South America. He is diagnosed with microcephaly, periventricular leukomalacia, and a developmental delay. He was also born premature and has a feeding tube.

Jace is described as a sweet boy who loves cuddles and affection from his caregivers. He loves to hear familiar voices and listening to music.

Jace recognizes his caregivers and will smile when he sees them. In the photo below, Jace is seen with his pediatrician. His pediatrician was in high school when she met him as an infant when he was first taken into care. Now she has a strong bond with the little boy, and he will smile when he sees her!

No information is provided regarding Jace's prematurity, but it can be assumed that many of his diagnoses may be caused by it. An agency can give more info.

Jace is eligible for a grant of up to $5,000 with RODS Heroes!

Sweet Jace has waited his entire life for a forever family. He is so special and would make for a wonderful son. Jace desperately needs out of an orphanage and access to quality medical care and therapies. His diagnoses may seem intimidating, but Jace is simply a little boy needing a mama! Please, don't let him grow up an orphan. Make an inquiry!
