"Monica"
Meet lovely sweet "Monica"! Monica is 2 years old and living in Eastern Europe. She is diagnosed with hydrocephalus, spina bifida, and CHIARI Malformation.
Monica is described as a sweet and calm baby who is almost always in a good mood. She loves to touch and feel things, and interacting with her caregivers. Monica loves being held and snuggled.
Monica has a good appetite, and is beginning to independently drink from a cup, eat with her hands, and can hold a spoon. She is still very young and delayed, and not yet talking, but she seems to understand what is said to her. Monica has a good attachment with her caregivers, and is reluctant and shy around unfamiliar people at first. She can hold up her head while on her tummy, and will reach for toys.
Monica has a catheter. She is catheterized every 4 hours with a break overnight.
Monica has $28 in her personal grant with Reece's Rainbow towards her adoption!
Sweet "Monica" just sounds like an ADORABLE little girl! I really hope and pray that someone sees this happy girl soon. She would benefit SO much from early intervention and quality medical care. Do you have room in your heart and home for one more?
