"Max" aka "Monte"

Meet "Max" aka "Monte"! Max is 7 years old and living in South America. He is diagnosed with microcephaly and fetal alcohol syndrome.

Max is described as an "affectionate and charming boy". He has lived in a foster family since shortly after birth. Max LOVES soccer, and wants to be a soccer player when he grows up! He spends many nights playing soccer with his foster dad. In addition to soccer, Max also enjoys cars and puzzles. He likes to watch TV, playing with other children, going for walks, building with blocks, and listening to music. Max loves animals of all kinds, and is very gentle with them. He is tender and loving. Max is always happy to help in the garden, or just relaxing with his foster family.

Max is able to recognize basic emotions. He has secure bonds with his foster parents, and can adapt well to different situations and environments. Max can be timid and shy, but warms up quickly. He follows instructions well. Max communicates using simple two word sentences and facial expressions.

As of September 2022, Max was attending kindergarten and receiving speech and occupational therapy.

Max has $0.00 in his personal grant with Nightlight Adoptions, where he is listed as "Mikey". He is also listed as "Monte" with Reece's Rainbow where he has $45.00 in his personal grant towards his adoption!

"Max" aka "Monte" sounds like he would be an amazing son. Can you imagine playing soccer in the evenings and building lego towers with this amazing kid? Max is well taken care of in his foster family but that will never replace his need for the consistency and love he could receive with a forever family. I pray that this is his last Thanksgiving an orphan. Please, take a chance on Max!
