"August"

Meet adorable little "August". August is 5 years old and living in South America. In addition to Down Syndrome, August is also diagnosed with imperforate anus, hypothyroidism, patent foramen ovale, and possible cerebral palsy. August also uses a feeding tube.

August is described as a cute little boy with bright eyes. He loves toys that make sounds and light up! He likes to swing in the sensory room, and is such a snuggle bug!

Based on videos of August, he is likely nonverbal and depends on his caregivers.

August's delays are likely caused by his diagnosis of Down Syndrome.

August has $2,587.28 in his personal grant with Reece's Rainbow, a $2,500 grant with Reece's Rainbow, a $5,000 grant with Wide Horizons Adoption, a $5,000 grant with RODS Heroes, and a $1,000 grant with another agency! Depending on the agency used, that's almost $15,100 or $11,100 towards his adoption!

This little guy is handsome, loving, and so deserving of a family. He is living in a large orphanage, and desperately needs access to quality medical care and therapies. Videos show August spending most of his day in a lonely crib. He has so much potential, and would thrive as someone's son. Could he be yours?
