JUNE IS SCOLIOSIS AWARENESS MONTH

Listed August 2012

"Phillip"

Phillip ages out in April 2025

As we continue Scoliosis Awareness Month, I want to introduce to you today Phillip. Phillip is 15 years old, and living in South America. He is diagnosed with dysgenesis of corpus callosum, scoliosis, and a speech delay.

“Phillip”’s profile hasn’t been updated in a while. His photo shows a little boy, who was listed when he was just 3 years old. Now, at 15, Phillip is likely much bigger, looks more grown up, and could still be waiting for his forever family.

Nothing is mentioned about Phillip’s scoliosis other than that it is “congenital cervical”. More information can be provided by an agency about Phillip’s diagnosis.

Phillip, as of 2012, was a smiley boy who has spent his entire life in an orphanage. He is very social and loves people. Phillip is easygoing, and loves music and dancing.

As of 2012, Phillip was smaller than average. He could communicate using single words, gestures, and signs. Phillip is very smart and understands and performs simple tasks when asked.

As of 2012 Phillip was receiving speech therapy.

Phillip has a $5,000 grant towards his adoption with Reece’s Rainbow!

Because “Phillip” has been listed so long, there is a chance he may have been adopted and Reece’s Rainbow just was not informed. But there is also a chance that a young man, 15 years old, is still waiting for his mama and papa to bring him home. If that’s the case, don’t make “Phillip” wait any longer. See your SON.
