feeding tube is exactly how it sounds, an alternative for individuals who struggle to eat by mouth. This can be caused by a variety of reasons. Feeding tubes can be used long term or short term, and can be changed. There are different types of feeding tubes, and are inserted in a variety of ways. Children with feeding tubes can still live long and full lives.

Meet handsome "Wynnston" aka "Andy"! Wynnston is 13 years old and living in South America. In addition to having a feeding tube, Wynnston is also diagnosed with Denys-Drash Syndrome and kidney disease.

Wynnston is described as a super sweet boy. He likes to make noises, putting his hands in his mouth, watching TV, and attention from his caregivers.

Wynnston cannot speak, but will make vocalizations. His caregivers believe that he would do really well in a family.

It is unknown whether or not Wynnston is able to eat by mouth or what type of feeding tube he has, but an agency can give more info.
