"Adrien"

Meet “Adrien”! Adrien is an adorable 8 year old boy living in Eastern Europe. He is diagnosed with a hernia, Arnold Chiari Malformation, and clubfoot.

Adrien loves to participate in games and activities. He’s a sweet boy who loves to learn, and he is respectful and obedient.

Limb differences are malformations of the limbs. These can include club foot, missing limbs, or amputations. Limb differences can be congenital or acquired. Many of these children live full lives and compensate for their limb differences. In some cases, surgery, prosthetics, or casting may be necessary.

Adrien is diagnosed as having a clubfoot. It is not stated in his bio how his clubfoot affects him, but an agency can give more info.

Adrien is also diagnosed with CHIARI Malformation. This is a condition in the brain in which the cerebellum (the part of the brain that controls coordination and muscle movement) pushes down through a hole in the bottom of the skull. Treatment for CHIARI Malformation depends on the severity. In the most serious cases, children often have surgical intervention to relieve pressure on the spinal cord. Individuals with CHIARI Malformation often need routine MRI's.

Adrien is specifically diagnosed with Arnold Chiari Malformation, which is now simply just called "CHIARI Malformation". There is no info provided about Adrien's diagnosis or whether any treatment has been needed, but an agency can give more.

Adrien currently has $1,871.02 in his personal grant towards his adoption!
